Meanwhile World War I & II Memorial Tower is 15 km and National Herbarium & Botanic Gardens of Malawi is 16 km away. The airport is Kamuzu International Airport and is less than 30 km, meanwhile Lake Malawi is only 2 hours away.

Malawi

Malawi is a year-round destination with parks and reserves staying open in all seasons. April to November is the most attractive and the chance of rain is slim, daytime temperatures are generally pleasant (in the 20s Celsius) and the low vegetation provides best viewing for game. The country has excellent fish dishes and soft drinks are widely available. Beers, wines and spirits are reasonably priced especially Malawi Gin and Carlsberg, which has its only African brewery in Malawi.

Malawi’s unit of currency is the kwacha (MK) and mobile banks have become the most common and reliable means of transferring funds. Malawi kwacha can easily be obtained from Forex Bureaux, banks (including ATMs), and even at the roadside curio stalls for foreign currency notes.
